I went fishing today in my favorite creek. I can always catch 4or5 good sized ones at a minimum. Did not see a single bass there today.... (Very very clear water there.)
I'm guessing a few fellas that I told about it did not catch and release, or opened their mouths and word traveled.....

Happens to me all the time...

Yep, people can't keep quiet, that's why I never say a word. If you want a spot, go find you own spots.

Would be the first time in over 10 years that I didnt get a bite there, let alone not see any bass.

That's all the more reason to just assume they were on the move and not completely gone. The weather has been funny this week, the fish could be doing all kinds of unusual stuff.

Now that is just most absurd "assumption" I have seen lately.
if you told these guys about your hole,,,,, then they should have been "friends".

I'm kinda with Nutman on this one. You really think they caught them all? When you have that "special" spot, you can catch the fish that are there and more will replenish those fish. I sure the conditions have moved the fish.

If I don't see my bass, I move on.
