I haven't fished there in years but I bet there's crappie in buddy Stewart right now. Id take a 14' rod or jig and cork down there. good luck and would love to hear a report

Went down last week and the gate to stewart park was closed, and the river was swollen pretty much. When they open it back up they are up there in the winter. Find the brush and you will find the fish. The other side by the boat ramp, you can walk down there on the bank. Once again find the deeper brush and the fish should be in there. Hope this helps
