From last spring. Sadly, the little ones didn't make it. A new comer came in and killed them, the parents returned the favor and killed the intruder.

I had a young hawk that landed in my parents pool couple years back. Guess he tried to fly out of nest and wasn't ready. Went outside and fished him out. He stayed in hard that day then was gone next morning, every couple days he would return and hang out in our trees even jumped onto a pool float one day and chilled for half an hour. After that I never saw him again

Nature right in your face is awesome...I have had stuff like this happen in the past in my back yard. Cool to watch.
