Anyone ever had an i-beam main trailer frame just 'snap'? I was towing my 21' bay boat and the end of one of the main trailer beams just snapped right above the axle. The axle is a six lug meant for up to 5000 lbs.
I looked on the internet and it seems aluminum trailers just break more often than I would have imagined.

When I had a shop open, we repaired a ton of them. Boat and stock trailers. Always cracking somewhere.
