Looking for opinions on the newer version of this rod. Always been a Falcon user, but was curious how this rod compares. Needing another Md Hvy rod around 7' with a cork handle. Thanks.

Oh you will love these rods!! I have 6 of the new Mags and with the new Gen2 coming out you will have a great rod if you decide to get one!! They are light and sensitive and priced at a great price!!You won't be disappointed!!

I recently purchased my first two Kistler rods and I am been extremely impressed. I have never used a falcon rod so it might not be a fair assessment, but I have nothing bad to say about my Kistlers.
