The fish were scattered in the water column anywhere from 16 foot deep to setting right on the bottom in 36 foot of water.

What worked for us was to get the jig about a foot above the fish and strip out two foot of line and let it free fall, they would kill it on the fall. (It's the only way we could get them to bite.)

If your not fishing a Purple Passion or the Black Emerald Shiner you might as well stay at home.

Anyways we caught a cooler full on a slow day. BFOTD was a 2.00 and a bunch that were almost.

Looks good!! Me and little man are headed to the woods tomorrow afternoon. He says he doesn't want to shoot a deer but wants to shoot turjeys so we shall see! Guess I will have a bow and a rifle in the blind! We maybe not Sat and Sunday am. That might be rifle blinds w heaters!! I never get too cold fishing or duck hunting but I freeze deer hunting!!

Good day!!!

That's still a nice mess of fish even if it was a little slow. I've got to make it Fork one day soon.

Great looking fish. Just for the heck of it, I would like for you to try a orange head and a monkey milk body one of these days. It has worked for me when everything else was slow. Todd had a package of monkey milk seconds for me last time i was there because I brag on em so much.

That's what he uses 98% of the time, and usually ends up with BFOD
This was last Sunday, the 15th, We were both mad at the fish from the G2G tourney the day before mad
