When dipping your baits to clear coat do you brush it on around the bill to say about the eyes then dip rest of the body?

Yep hasn't made them brittle or anything and gives them a clearer look

When dipping your baits to clear coat do you brush it on around the bill to say about the eyes then dip rest of the body? Not sure what you mean...are you dipping the lures before painting or after? Sometimes its necessary to clear the plastic before painting by dipping them in acetone. Sometimes a dip in ac1315 clears the plastic. Depends...
