the flounder may or maynot be around, usually there not but this year, everythings alittle different with the cold coming late.
Sheepshead will be around, the bull reds are still doable.

my personal way of doing it is buying live shrimp and cutting it up, yes i know , it defeats the purpose of paying for live bait, but fresh cut live bait works well. fish within 20ft of structure, and do not cast and set the rod down, hold it in your hand

Fish Tiki at night ( green lights on docks) this will get you some fish. From TIKI, go under causeway bridge and into ship channel, pelican island area and fish the variuos retaining walls that are all over the place along there.

Alright, went to Galveston for a short trip. Fished at south jetty yesterday, Beautiful weather, bunch of mullets in shallow water but no bite for three hours. Stopped by Seawolf park at night, tons of people there, no one got anything , hooked on a little eel thing, can't wait to throw it back.realmad Fished again this morning at south jetty, huge waves, caught some under size red at the channel , they started to bite around 9, and saw a guy pulled up a 30 lb red and lost another one. There is fish there laugh. Just not my day. Anyway, Merry Xmas to everyone!
