I'm heading down this Wednesday because it seems to be the warmest and driest day of the week other than Thanksgiving day. How are the Flounder and Trout doing? Where should I go if I dont have a boat or perfer not to wade as I'm bringing an inexpirienced friend.

we're not killing them, but there's some fish here. wading the reefs around confederate or working shore lines(grass) in the lakes pays off with reds and an occasional flounder or trout. haven't heard of any big numbers of trout.

A cold front is expected to push through on Saturday. The first warm day (74f) is supposed to be Wednesday, the day I'm going. Does this change anything?

only change should be the flounder. hopefully the big girls will start a mass movement to deep water. i'll be testing the waters in the Galveston Channel all next week. good luck to both of us.

I agree with Smooth... Flounder bite should really get started. And I agree with his report on reds on the reefs and coves.. Nice work SmoothMove.
