This lake here is prolly the worst out of what everyone has talked about. Most people on here haven't had the disappointment that most people that fish here has. I live 15 minutes from it drive a hour to go other places.

Ray Roberts is the only lake I fish and it drives me insane some days. Love/Hate relationship for sure, but it makes the days when I catch them all the more rewarding.

Brownwood is one I won't go back to. Eagle mountain is also on my list. Lewsiville and Gvine are fine by me just got to watch the pleasure boaters Wait! Can I retract Belton and second the vote for Brownwood? We are headed there for the holiday weekend and my brother asked if I would bring the boat so we can do a little fishing each day. Ummmmmm.... I guess?

Doesn anyone have that 1 lake they hate to fish? Everyone has their favorites but there has to be one you just hate having to fish wether it's a local club trail or big trail. Livingston

Georgetown (AKA the Dead Sea) I have never had a problem catching fish on Georgetown, in fact it is one of my favorite Smallmouth lakes. Lake Travis is my arch enemy!!! I hate Lake Travis with a passion!

Georgetown (AKA the Dead Sea) I don't understand why people say this. This is an awesome fishery. I fished it just this past summer. I spent all day casting my arms off and was rewarded by one small dink at the end of the day. I would have taken a pic of it, but I was afraid people would have trouble telling the difference between the fish and my crankbait.

Right now: Lake Bridgeport. Lots of fish but, they are not biting on almost anything.....not just a report from this one but all of the anglers I talked to when there.....not sure why but, they are not feeding and they are DEEP
