Nobody, I repeat nobody go to Falcon! All the fish are dead, and drug dealers will kill you! Do not go there. Your fishing buddy that says he has caught some big fish there is lying to you..... And don't go to Lake Austin either! The grass carp will put a hole in your hull, and eat lil' pieces of your propeller, and your truck will get broken into. Heed my warning, and do not go to these lakes. Don't go to the Guadalupe Lakes either. There is dangerous floating flood debris just below the surface. I live 10 minutes from the ramp off 2499 for Lewisville and I never use it! I hate that lake and will gladly drive elsewhere.
My Other hate/hate relationship is Lavon.

The clubs I fish do paper tournaments on the slot lakes One guy catches an emaciated fish that is 21 inches long and actually weighs about 3.5 pounds. Another guy catches an absolute football that is 20.5 inches long and actually weighs over 5 pounds. Who gets credited for more weight in the standings? On top of that, how many times have people brought short fish to the scales that they "measured"? I trust most of my fellow tournament fishermen, I'm just not sure I trust that they know the proper way to measure fish. All those concerns are alleviated if we all bring our fish to the scales and weigh them.
