Hey folks, I`m fairly new to crappie fishing, and was wondering what the best rig is for fishing with minnows in 20fow, fish at 18fow?

If trolling use a Capps and Coleman rig. If fishing timber I use a double a double jig set with jig on top and minnow on bottom if I fish with a minnow.

I use trolling weights like what NekidTackle sells. Loop the leader on a 2/0 snell hook through the bottom eye and you're set.

My rig is pretty simple. I use a 1/8 or 1/4oz egg sinker and tiny split shot about 10 inches up from a crappie hook when fishing minnows.

I like a drop shot setup or a Kentucky rig for fishing deep. I don't do any trolling but need to learn. What is the Capps and Coleman rig? Forgive my ignorance.
