Caught this beautiful fish around 1pm today at Clear Lake Park in Seabrook. I was passing through town on business and brought my light spinning tackle with me just in case.
I was using a Mepps spinner that has been in my tackle box for about 25 years now. Didn't weigh or measure, but I wear size 12s and this fish was a good 2 to 3 inches longer than my shoe. Right on the edge of legal size. He's back swimming in the lake.
