Much better than salmon.....that was only a few that were caught. Much of the harvest ended up at local VFD fish fry's and redneck weddings....

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

Reminds me of the people that killed all of the buffalo and left none for the next generation. You son, need to learn conservation rather than trying to kill off all the big fish. You are the public's worst enemy.

Painting with a broad brush there. Really depends on how many people were out fishing that day, how often they take a catch like this, etc.

If I'm out with a group of family or friends and we bring in a haul like this a couple times a year, that's probably not a bad thing. If I were out fishing alone and brought catches like this to the fillet table every week, that would probably be excessive.

Personally, I think those are mighty impressive fish, and they'll taste good!

The U.S. government encouraged and paid a bounty to wipe out the buffalo, to do the same to the Plains Indians.

There were 7-8 people fishing that day Including 3 kids.

THE people that killed off all of the buffalo shot them and skinned them leaving 99% of the animal to rot.

None of these fish were wasted.

Those arent even big flatheads. Those are just good size.

During spawn the larger fish lay over 1000 times as many eggs as the littler fish. Thats why you put'em back.....if you want to maintain good numbers, otherwise you deplete the number in the pool. A lot .
