tell me more about the taped cast net, how that works or what its suppose to do? dumb question maybe haha
Anyone else Feel free to add to whatever I say here-
DJ best I can splain is that when you throw your cast net it tends to kinda "invert" after it hits the water and start to close up as it's going deeper- no problem if you are casting into 10 fow or less-but in deeper water the net pretty
Much closes up before it hits the bottom-
The taped nets help to keep the net open much like a parachute-it does slow the decent of the net just fyi-
The net just seems to catch more bait for me than I ever caught before
Casting in 10 fow plus-
If you have access to a swimming pool that is a great way to see the action of the taped vs non taped cast nets-
Getting a taped net has made a ton of difference to my bait getting in deeper
Water-I would just scratch my head before when I was sure I saw Shad on the FF but couldn't seem to net them -
Hope this helps-
