Um, those y'all who purchased a Wildey product with the Flex Pod OS with the intention of adding the pedal drive when it became available may be disappointed.

Thanks for the update, Josh. It reinforces my recent decision to buy an Outback. I still have, use and love my Ride 135, but pretty excited about my Hobie.

It is disappointing. I spoke with Hans (the designer and engineer) and he told me that there were several versions of the pedal drive for the existing flex pod OS but none were up to the normal standard that Wildy demands. Basically better to delay the release than to half [censored] a major product like a pedal drive system.

Shades of the SOLO drone/gimbal releases, but a good decision.

LOL! I understand that, but once you put a product out on the market like a new pedal drive system it has to be perfect and have the ability to last long term. The last thing any consumer would want is to have it released prematurely and run into issues or have recalls down the road. I havent seen it yet but from what i hear it will be worth the wait.
