 What would be the most practical size Yeti for day trips?

As far as spending a day on the water packed with lunch and drinks for around 4 people usually. What size would you prefer?

I don't think it is a matter of more money than brains. Nothing wrong with having a good cooler that will last.

I have several Engel dry boxes and live bait coolers. We sell the Engel brand where I work. They don't seem to hold up as well as the Yeti. I am referring to the hardware , such as latches.

45 is perfect for it all- can carry it on packed by yourself too

Waste of money for a day trip!! Unless your on the coast etc and need a box just to store ice for several days. Once you open the lid, you have lost any advantage of the yeti.

I got the Igloo Sportsman 55 from Sam's Club for $199. Keeps ice for days and it is half the price of a Yeti. After losing yet another cooler lid on the way to the lake, I decided to buy a heavy duty cooler that will last. Yetis might hold ice the longest or might not, but I don't really need to keep the same ice for a week at a time.
