I fished Mesquite on Thanksgiving morning. I was there about an hour, guy down from me caught a couple. The cormorants caught plenty....so yes they stocked on the 25th.

Went across the border to Oklahoma's Turner Falls to get a round of Trout Fishing in before they stock Bethany Lakes later in December. Limited out; had a great time. Saw no other fishermen! Working on the video. Will post later.

TRWD posted their stocking dates on their web page. The dates are February 4 and March 8.

Not a good move to change to Feb/March. If it rains trout will be gone in no time.

So, tomorrow is Bailey Lake in Burleson on the stocking schedule. I went by there today to scout it out because I've never been. How do you get back there?

Awesome video! I liked seeing the jumpers! Haven't had one jump on me yet. Those trout look a bit bigger on average than some of the ones stocked around the local area.

I'm hoping to try out the LLELA stocking this year. I've never been there.

Went out to Tyler State Park on Sunday....caught one and saw a couple people with some on stringers

Beautiful Country out there. Even though I didn't limit out, my favorite part of the day was fishing with my kids.
