Here are a few of the recent builds done on Blue Halo fiberglass blanks.
First up is a So-Blue 8' 5wt
Black Pearl Recoil guides, Carbon Fiber Grip, White silk thread,







Next are Twins. 7'6" 3wts on Blue Halo Charcoal glass blank.
Winn charcoal grip, Black Pearl recoil guides, Charcoal thread wraps.

Those look sweet! How does the carbon fiber grip do once it gets wet? I've been really looking hard at the Blue Halo 5wt and 7wt lately.

It doesn't get slippery at all. I've been making and using for years. All of my personal rods have them.
