This day is Veterans Day and the day we honor their service to America.

Later in the day, I had an "itch" I needed to scratch = a good sunset and some fresh flounder for my sweetheart, while she took some pics of my quest.

I got my feet wet as the sun kissed Mother Earth.

The clouds and the sun gave me the 1st one of the things I was seeking as the sun went from yellow to red to gold before it disappeared.

As dusk set in I reeled in the 2nd thing I was looking for.

Nailed a flounder with a silver/redeye "Rex's Rattler" jig I made and a Glow/Firetail SW Bass Assassin ... time spent fishing = ~45 minutes

Said a few prayers for our Veterans as the sun set and over supper.

Thanks Curt.

Corrected lure used to catch flounder: .... started out with Chart/Redeye rattling jig I make with Plum/Chart SWBA, forgot that I switched to my Silver/Redeye rattling jig with a Glow/Firetail SW Bass Assassin and nailed the flounder.

Water temps were still good for khakis for this wade and it felt good to be in the water !
