OPEN TOURNAMENT December 5, 2015 Sandlin/Cypress Springs Come join the fun! CAT is holding an open tournament on December 5th on Bob Sandlin/Cypress Springs. You can fish either lake. The tournament fee is $50 per team and $10 if you want to be in the big fish pot. Tournament hours will be 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You must be in the weigh-in line at Big Earls Bait and Tackle by 2 p.m. You do not have to be a member to fish this tournament. https://m.facebook.com/crappieanglersoftexas/

Glad to hear you all are coming. It'll be here so fast and Richie and I are working on our fishing pass for 2016. Wife wanted hard woods. Flooring the whole house so we should be good to fish no questions asked all next year. That being said I know you guys are good for tips since we won't be able to prefish right?!

I came across the dam on Cypress Springs about one hour ago and the water was just a couple of inch's over full. If it will help anyone looking at a map.

Don't forget the tournament this Sat. Sign up at Big Earls Fri 5-6pm or Sat morning 6-6:30am. Sandlin is only up 6" so all ramps should be open. Details in first post above. Forecast right now is mostly clear, wind 3-5 mph east and no rain.  Let's wet a line and have some fun.

Richie was suppose to find out if he has to work. Got a text Sunday while we were finishing hard wood floors in my house. Should know this evening.
May fish my first solo.Looking forward to seeing everyone.
