I have to go down to The Woodlands today for work and will be there till Friday or Saturday. I'm thinking about bringing my bass boat along incase I get some downtime. I have no clue about the lakes down there as I primarily stay in the north Texas area. Does Lake Conroe or Lake Livingston have pretty good bass fishing? I don't know if I will have enough time to run to Rayburn, otherwise I would do that. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks for the help.

The fall is pretty good for Conroe. Conroe would be better than Livingston. I'm headed to Conroe Sat with a buddy.

Conroe was ranked the 50th best bass lake on this years bass master article...some would agree, some would disagree. It's a hard nut to crack but it's a good lake
