Robert & Stan were my guests on Friday. We fished from 8 AM to about 1:30 PM. The bite was the best until about 11. The numbers were not there, but we did catch some quality fish. Caught about 10 hybrids with only 2 being 18+ inches. The fish were moving and it was difficult to stay on them. The slab was the best bait in 20- 35 feet of water. One hint, do not ignore the area formally known as the Twin Poles.




Lake Park Marine had some bad luck this week. They were closed when the fire started in a boat they were working on. Looks like quite a bit of damage. Hope their insurance is current.

The park is closed, but the first ramp is open. There is not any parking for vehicles without trailers.

Thx for the tip don. Was out today in the weather today, Big waves....really. Left my bass boat at home and took out my high sided duck boat. No trolling motor and the anchor was just slowing us down to a .5 mph drift but able to boat 25 or 30 sandies in an hour and a half near twin poles. Still there.

OK......realize I am going to need an outboard mechanic eventually. Where do you guys take your boats for service now that lakepark is in ashes. In Denton, so anything between lewisville and valleyview would be good.
