Rayburn in my opinion. Athens always gives me problems. On me and I'll send you some areas to fish that have worked for me.

We caught 140+ bass on Sam Rayburn on Tuesday on a guide trip with 100+ being keepers. Last week I had two trips and we caught 100+ fish on both those trips. They have been biting pretty good if you know where to look. A lot of those came off mew spots that we found the other day that I had never fished before. Client wanted to learn how to find fish so we spent a good bit of time just looking for new stuff. We were fishing deep/mid range but there are still a lot of fish shallow as well. If you aren't getting bit then you are fishing too slow right now and need to cover water no matter if you are deep or shallow.
I have not been since the cold front passed through but I don't imagine it hurt them too bad since the water temp had been hovering around 70 degress. Should make them bite better if the wind lets you fish. Even if you don't find them it will still be a great day to spend scouting for future trips. Sometimes you learn way more when the fish aren't biting that day.

Been sitting on a computer all day working on a proposal. Still trying to line up enough support to fish the Tour next year. You have to juggle it all... Make money that day by guiding or teaching classes or do all of the business stuff associated with being a bass pro trying to make the bigger money later.
We did go on the water for a little bit yesterday but we didn't fish enough to claim that we went. I had a buddy in from Arkansas.

I couldn't imagine catching those numbers, used to catch 50+ on Amistad and thought.........it just doesn't get any better than that! Then I move out to AZ and 10 fish a day is a good day... I can't wait to get back to TX!

It would be a bad day on Rayburn right now if we didn't catch 50+ a day. Been like that for awhile now.

Rayburn was pretty good yesterday. Caught them shallow on t-rigs. Try to find the patchy hydrilla. Not much of it right now.
