I was asked to do a red craw color. At first I wasn't going to post this "fail" but decided I would and I will post new pics of my next attempt later.

Actually it looks pretty good. I like your color selection. Best way to learn (at least for me) is to try something and begin to refine the process each time you paint the pattern.

Spitballing herehmmm: splatter a little moss green over it and add some black eyes.
