Hey guys, I'm going down to port aransas this weekend. Anything biting? I would like to wade and maybe pier or surf fish. I am staying at a hotel near the tarpon inn so somewhere within 30 minutes or so would be great.

Tides are up right now - wade fishing has been good to excellent with a good shot at trout, reds or flounder.

Ok thanks, where should I wade around there. How deep should I fish and which lures are best? Would redfish bay be a good choice, if so how can I get to it without a boat?

I am planning on going with a large group this Saturday to PINS. The weather so far doesn't look good. Raining with high winds. The worst combination.
I haven't been able to get any updates on fishing yet.

Yea it is a rather bad combination. But the fishing has been good lately
