Today I had Steve and his sidekick Ray (SnapShot) out on Fayette for the morning. Started out cool, cloudy, with light north wind, then wind picked up a bit making it cooler. Winds did stay below 12 mph.

First spot fish were waiting, until the wind picked up, then the bite died down, so we moved. We fished three spots finding fish at two of them. It looked like the most fish award was a tie today.

They ended the morning with 50 nice cats averaging about 4# each. All fish caught using corks, in 9-14 foot water, on CJ's Crawdad punch bait.

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.
