Just ordered my Elite 7HDI. What are some good settings to get me started. Also if I get a GPS Puck will the GPS be faster??

I have two Elite 7's linked together on my Skeeter. They are both slow in regard to GPS positioning and one constantly changes orientation on it's own.

Of course I had read all the bad reviews in regard to slow processors before I purchased, but still bought them due to the huge cost savings (Academy had them on sale last Christmas). I find them to be excellent units and don't regret the purchase.

Some day I will add a GPS puck, because it will fix the GPS issues.
