Ok, so I placed an order recently with Crazy Angler. One item I ordered was 100 red sickle hooks to use in the rare event that I would use minnows (usually mom or my kids use the minnows...don't judge...lol). At least that is what I thought I ordered. It turns out that I ordered a 1000 count box of red sickle hooks used for pouring jig heads. Now, I can just keep them and use them for minnows anyway (not idea, but it worked work) or I can find someone who pours jigs and ship the hooks to them OR if someone wants to pour and sell jig heads back to me with the aforementione hooks that would be great too! Any ideas? Any takers? Chris

The red hooks are pretty weak. I only use the black chrome now.

Call Crazy Angler about an exchange. Will cost you some postage but may be worth getting what you actually want.

Thanks Ken and Tony for the advice. For what I paid for them, keeping them is not out of the question at all. Robert is good people for sure and has taken care of me with some of the greatest customer service I have ever gotten. Stay safe gentlemen. ...our rain is coming and was pretty relentless.

I know a guy in Ohio that will take a jig hook and use a split shot weight to make a jig. I have fished with some of them and they work as good as any.....

The red hooks are pretty weak. I only use the black chrome now. The black chrome hooks have always broken too easily to suit me. I've used nothing but the red hooks for quite a while now. I guess that's why there's chocolate and vanilla.
