I'm inheriting a 1992 Ranger 362V from my oldest fishing buddy, my dad, as unfortunately he cant use it anymore. The boat is in outstanding condition as it has been hangered it's entire life and not used a great deal. The gel coat and upholstery is top notch.
The 1992 150 Johnson Fast Strike starts slowly, but always does, doesn't like to idle, but runs well at full throttle when warmed up.
I don't want to go as far as repowering a 23 year old boat, but would like to get new pumps and impeller in the motor as well as a tune up. I think the boat could use a jack plate as well.
Im also probably due for some new hoses and bilge / livewell pumps as well.
I'd also like to update it a bit with two HDS units I have on my jon boat, put in a new trolling motor, associated wiring, and a receased trolling motor tray if there is room.
Any suggestions to anyone in the metroplex area that would do this type of work?

I used bear marine by Ray Roberts lake and they were timely as well as reasonably priced. I will continue with them in the future.

+1 for Bear Marine. Brad is a genius especially with older motors.

In your neck of the woods I would also consider Lake Park Marine. Good folks and fair prices.
