First post, Great site, I have a 10 ft.2 man Bass Hound with 30 lb TM and a 3.5 hp OB and would like to try it on the river for some stripper and crappie fishing. where is the best place to launch Oklahoma or Tx side because I'm pulling boat with car and how safe would it be when the water is being released. I would surly use common sense for boating safety. any info for fishing and launching is greatly welcome. Thanks

The only place to launch is on the Okla. side just below the dam, you'll see where others are launching down there. I.m not sure that I would try it when they are generating 2 units, possibly when they are generating one unit.

Thanks, the few times I've been up it was on the lake side and I had a larger boat but I down sided over the years, so I'm hoping to get a few fish before winter gets here .
