Had a good day on Tawakoni fishing with Ron, Larry and in Rex's fine boat. Left State Park around 7:15 and headed to Tallman. Saw birds working south towards the dam. Got over there and immediately started catching under hybrids. Ron, Larry, myself caught a hybrid and Rex a striper. Fished there for a while and picked up more under hybrids, stripes and some very nice sand bass. Moved over to where birds were working and caught more. Biggest Hybrid was 23", sandbass 16" and not sure how big Rex's striper was. Did get a double big sandy and under hybrid and then hooked up another double but the bottom lure broke off. Majority of fish caught on slabs in 15-20 fow.

Ended the day with 29 on the clicker but Rex didn't count the catfish I caught. As a matter of fact Rex said do not let the slimy thing in my boat . All fish released to catch another day. Wonderful day on the lake, weather was great and so was the company.

Great trip again with friends, when the sun came out finally it slowed down, 65 deg water today, tried a new slab shown from MT Pockets Tackle and 1st 2 casts had 2 hybrids, white seemed to work better today.

Miss that place more and more with these reports! Well done and nice pics$
