The Iwata with a .35 will do just about anything until you get into doing fine lines then something with a Mac valve is a plus

Was that a masters set?
I use a .50 for base coating and .35 for everything else until I get my hands on a Iwata hp-ch

I still use my masters brush from time to time not a bad set to start out with. When you get the neo just leave the masters set up with the .5 needle and nozzle to base with and use the other for detail work.

Since I started using an Iwata HP-CH my two Paasche airbrushes, Talon and Vision, are getting a lot less use. Put a .6 needle in the Talon and only use it to spray fine glitter. The Vision still get used... just not as much.

yep the old crescendo 175 is used exclusively for basecoating with a .5mm needle. the iwata hpcs i use for misting colors and blending and the iwata hpch is for all my detail work. lots of times though i find myself using the hpch for everything. it's a great brush! if you can only get one, get the hpch. there are usually great deals on them on ebay or amazon. i picked mine up for $130.
