Finally got into some good fish!!! I found a school about 9:30 a.m. and followed them until 11:30 a.m when the turned off. Smallest fish caught was 17". I brought home an 18", 21" and a 22" for dinner. Threw back about 15 fish. Caught most of them on a ReAxtion Lure Belly Spinner.

My personal best is 16.5#. I hung one on a RL150 series slab and I believe it was over 16.5#. I got her up to the boat and then realized my net was at the other end of the boat.

So, in my effort to work her to the back of the boat where my net was, she rolled on her side and poof, she was gone!!!

Had a lot of fun for sure. It's been a long time as all I've been catching are dinks. Water temperature was 66.9F. I think that's helping. Water clarity is still not back to normal yet but getting better!!!

Way to go! I saw your post on Geezers about making a trial run with the smaller profile belly spins. They look like great baits and obviously worked! Slow rolling or were they in a chasing mood?
