Does anyone know a place in Weatherford or near it that has large numbers of large Perch?

I have spent 30 years looking for such a place. It does not exist on public land.

Several of the private lakes have large sunfish, but they are expensive or are not open to the public.

All I would suggest is to get off the beaten path, find places that don't get much pressure.

There is great reward in doing some exploring and then having it pay off with a banner day of catching.

That said, cooler weather makes the sunnies harder to catch

Side Note: Fish are active right now looking for food. hooked Once the colder weather sets in the sunfish bite will really slow down. yawn
