I'm thinking about heading there tomorrow. I know the bite has been tough there all summer, wondering if it has gotten any better since the cooler weather has come in.

Was there last weekend. Quite a few small fish up to 3 lbs. Lake looked good. Most on shad crankbaits and worms. Had a few on top water

Water is going to be muddy, we've had a lot of rain out here today.

Im going to Lake Leon for the first time on Friday. Any pointers would be helpful i mainly like to worm fish so any tip like which color to start with will be appreciated.

watermelon red senko. fished it yesterday and they are biting a lot better than they were. fished two hours and had 15-18 pounds

well went out this afternoon for a few hours and couldn't buy a bite. looks like the lake may have dropped a bit and I stayed away from my usual spots.

I never made it to Leon last weekend, I went to benbrook instead. Leon has always been one of my favorites but this year its been real tough.

I fished it Friday and Saturday. I caught 11 on Friday biggest around 4.5 the rest were dinks. Only had five on Saturday biggest about 2.5. Every fish was caught on a square bill.

Did better than me... Went out on Sunday from 7-2:30 and caught 3. First fish wasn't even until around 12... One on a square bill, other two on Black/Blue Jig.
