Sad news for sure... I was shocked to hear this as the whole Davis family are great people. Wilcox and I fished and filmed a tournament on Palestine one year and he went out of the way to make us feel real welcome. These are tough times I have no doubt. Please take strength in Christ and know that some how God has a plan. He will be missed on earth,
Good luck,
Jeff

When I heard this yesterday from Chris.... WHAT? I was totally lost for words and immediately started crying... So devastating. Your never ready for good people to leave.

Chris, Jeff, Charlie, Nancy... I truly pray for an abundant outpouring of God's blessings and comfort for each of you and especially for Ty and Dione during this time. Rest In Peace my friend. We will see you again one day!

I have known Bryan through the BLT having fished it the past few years. This is a horrible loss for the Davis family and all the fishing community. He was a wonderful man and always had a smile on his face. He was a true "energy giver" to the fishing world. We will all miss him. Prayers up for the entire Davis family and all his friends. Rest in Peace Bryan!!

Those of you that knew him know that he was a great man. I would like to set up a tournament at like ray Roberts for an up coming weekend and all entries will be donated to the family he left behind if anyone has any ideas or thoughts send me a message I think it would be a great way to honor him and his legacy wil USFISHINGTRAILS

I still refuse to accept that we lost Bryan. He was a pillar in the tournament fishing industry and one of the best tournament directors I ever worked with. Most of us know Bryan and the Davis family through their tournaments, but it was the friend, father, husband, and mentor that Bryan was that will define his legacy. Bryan was one of the most selfless individuals I have ever met. His world revolved around his family and friends that meant the world to him. So many times I stopped by his home before leaving for a tournament and his friends and neighbors always seemed to stop by and visit, which would almost certainly evolve into a huge dinner followed by darts and laughs. He had such a big heart for helping and mentoring neighboring kids, sharing his passion for the outdoors. He was simply a good man that gave of himself to help others. This is the Bryan that I will remember.

Bryan touched a lot of lives during his short time in this crazy world. He went above and beyond his call
of duty whether it was directing tournaments or coaching kids. His passion was one to be desired. I can only hope to have left behind a fraction of the positive impact he had on so many when my day comes. God speed brother!! I will continue to pray for the Davis family in hope that they find peace during this time.

Chris ....let me know if you need anything brother. I'm just a phone call away.

To all anglers:

Life is so precious...For those who have kids----never miss an opportunity to tell them you love them! I will miss my son beyond belief.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. My phone has too many texts and e-mails to respond to at this time.

Please accept our appreciation from our family for your kind words about Bryan. I will try to respond to your texts and e-mails later next week.

Sincerely,

Charlie Davis
