Putting the boat in at Squaw Creek this morning and because of some surgery I asked for one of the guys at the office to back my boat in so I wouldn't have to screw with climbing on the trailer and releasing the boat. I'm sitting in the boat and hear "oh no, hey hey" and then the sound of a boat beaching at a good speed between my ramp and the one next to it. Don't know if the throttle stuck or early morning drinking but the boat missed the boat next to me by inches and mine by feet and ended up with more than half the boat on the ramp. Took 4 or 5 guys to push it back in the water. My driver took me to the last ramp and launched me so I don't know how the conversations went. Always take a change of underwear.
Retirement is what I always thought it would be! Except considerably better.
