68-72 degrees. The lake is up. Water is pouring over the overflow for the last few days. Water clarity is a 2-2 and half foot or more near the dam. Pretty stained every where else

There ya go !!!!
Out there yesterday for a couple of hours at lunch time.
One guy leaving sais he wacked em,,,,,,,they were biting good. 25 fish in the morning.
the next boat coming out said they had lock jaw.......
My 2 hours were quite productive, looking forward to the weekend.

Do you happen to know the status of the Athens Fish & Game Lake dam/road?
Last time I was out there, it was still blocked off.

Brad the road is still closed.I think its job security for the crew as long as it is taking to repair.

I believe there's a tourney there this Saturday also. I haven't been there in a month or so but did really well on square bills and spinner baits.

My son tested out a new-used boat this morning on Athens.
The fish were biting on deep diving Shad colored crank baits down on the south end of the dam
Water color was good
The Store at the boat ramp reopened on Friday
The store will be open Fri-Sat-Sun 8:30am till 5pm
The grill will be open 11am--2pm those 3 days

Is the 'grill' the same as the restaurant? And do they still have RV area open or is it closed?

RV area is NOT open.
Grill is not the restaurant.
grill is inside the little store.
