Updated some old shad patterns tonight...


The 2.5 pattern is for clearer water the 1.5 pattern is for stained water. The lures in these pictures haven't been clear coated yet. Added new style eyes and changed the markings. Also used micro glitter on the back and belly...doesn't show in the pictures but really looks good in direct sunlight. Once they're cleaned up and the clear coat is done these patterns will really stand out.

Thanks guys. Always looking to add a little something to improve the pattern when I can. Thinkin' I finally figured out how to use the Iwata HP-CH bought last summer. Love that airbrush...mix the paint right and its way better than anything I've ever used. A fellow TFF'er asked me to put something together on the 1.5 and 2.5 blanks in that stained water color.

Took about 15 to the lake yesterday to make sure they run true...fished the 1.5 squarebill for about 20 minutes...no takers. Caught a crappie...but they don't count when you're bass fishin'...do they?
