Went out with Ernest Paty for a ride on the toon and was surprised at how well it fished and pretty comfy too. We went on a search for new structure and it was a success. We even created a little habitat along the way.
Close to a 2 man limit (with some dandies)
You will have to take my word for it as I did not take pic' nor did Ernest. This post was mainly sharing about how the toon fished.
It was a great day on the water and the north wind treated us right.
Thanks for the invite Ernest.

I have been saying that for 5 years now. I love my toon and now that I rebuilt her with a center log and a 135 Honda, she scoots when needed.
A good pontoon is a good ride on a rough day as well.
Randy I'm in good shape for the shape I'm in!

Today was really fun, David has turned into a pretty good Crappie fisherman in spite of all the teaching Guy subjected him to this year. North wind had me a bit worried starting out but the fish didn't seem to mind that a front had just blown thru. Most of our bigger fish came in 18'-20' water over rocky bottoms with scattered brush. Area we were fishing was between 121 cut and I35. Hope tomorrow is as good.

I'm just wondering if David's eyes burn when he looks at a Lowrance graph.

I'm just wondering if David's eyes burn when he looks at a Lowrance graph. Not really as it's just not as bright as my Humminbird If we had the Humminbird 360 we could have done much better..... Installing Guy' tomorrow and then a water test....

I have to admit I have a Helix-9 w/360 on order. Poor crappie won't have a chance.
