Does anyone catch fish on Lake Travis? There was a guy I talked to at the dry stack when I kept my boat there who used to go out occasionally and troll for them, but I never found out if he caught anything.
just wondering if it's worth the time to try to fish it or just go to other lakes.

But seriously, If you have boat and want to trying trolling...
I prefer the Norman DD22 Fire Tiger and Norman DD22 Wht-Grn Fleck.

Or if you want to go deeper, try the Mann's E-Z 30+ Crankbaits Fire Tiger, Pearl Blue Back Crystal glo.
There more expensive but worth it IMO, when fish are suspended deeper
http://www.tacklewarehouse.com , has the best deals I can find?

Or even deeper rig-up a (Magnum 5-1/2")Hellbender -pet spoon rig, even more expensive combined...lol
But can go 40+ feet, if you add bell weight to hellbender...
Just use lighter test line on your leader for pet spoon...
And at best if you get hungup, you will at least to get your hellbender back.Hopefully...lol

But best all around bait for stripers IMO, is 2"-5" live Perch...
Mark the fish, then drop to depth you mark-em and reel-em in cheers
