About five weeks ago, my fishing buddy lost his TB. He got home and noticed it missing from the boat. He thought it was stolen at Bastrop North Shore when he went to the toilet before leaving. I said it may have bounced and blown out along 290 somewhere. His prescription glasses, cell phone and camera were in the box. A few days later coming back from Bastrop, I kept an eye out along 290 on the off chance. Nope.

Last night, he gets a call. Caller said he found a box and to ask my buddy if he could describe some contents. It was his TB. The guy is retired and volunteers in Manor cleaning up the tollway right of way and came across his box, fully intact. He put it up on CL's lost and found for about 4 weeks but no inquiries. He then went and got a charger for the phone, looked up a contact and called my buddy's brother who knew he had lost the box.

So now, the box and fisher are to be reunited today thanks to an honest and awesome volunteer.

There are good people in this world.
