I was wondering about fishing the north end of Cedar Creek Lake at Kings Creek with this rising water Saturday if it would be best to go in the creek or fish out into the mouth of the creek with shad for catfish I would appreciate any one thoughts on this idea

By tomorrow I would think the creeks would be falling so I'd stick with the mouth, if you don't get anything move on out to the timber near island.

And watch out for flying STEEL shot..... Duck season starts SAT. +1 Them duck hunters think they own the water when season starts. I have been shot at on Ray Robers before while trying to fish.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
