Loc: Lake Texoma/Texas
Here's a few pics from the last couple of weeks. The topwater bite that had been producing some really nice fish has really slowed down now and I've had to change it up to be successful. I've actually started fishing live bait on the river and it is producing very well. It's about as fast as I can go to keep up with baiting hooks and removing fish. There is very little current on the river now and we are fishing the holes next to the dam. This hasn't been producing the bigger fish I was getting on top water but the action is incredible and we occasionally catch a double digit fish. It is easy for the kids and we basically fish until we run out of bait. The lake is starting to get better too. I've only done a couple of lake trips lately and it was a little slow for me but I'm seeing a few posts from my buddies where they got on them. I think the colder water temps will help the oxygen levels return to normal and get the fish feeding again. I'm offering trips on the river or lake but I can only take three anglers on the river as my airboat is smaller than my lake boat. It been a great couple weeks below Lake Texoma.
