Today I fished with my friend Freeman, from Little River, and brother-in-law Howard, on Lake Somerville. It was a foggy morning. The lake is 7.5' above normal pool and still rising. The places we fished were 9-12 foot deep, when last week the same places were 2-5 foot deep.

We fished four spots and found fish at all spots. Sometimes when water is washing food into the lake they do not come to chum well. Today was different, they came to chum in all four spots.

All fish were caught using corks and CJ's Crawdad punch bait. We ended the morning with 75 nice size cats, up to 7#. I have had days when 75 fish would fit into a cooler and today the cooler was full with 38 fish.

I use mixture wheat milo little corn. Chum when I get to a spot. Not a previously baited hole. Takes
About 15 minutes if fish are there
