Its finally starting to feel like fall here in Texas. Weather and water temps are cooling off, the shad are on move, and fish are starting to CHEW!!!
The fall is one of favorite times of the year to fish. The best part about fall fishing is you can go out and fish your strengths or style and catch em. Not only do we catch numbers this time of year and but size as well.

The number 1 thing i target and look for in fall fishing is the bait. Im starting every morning throwing Chatterbaits and topwater baits from the mouth of pockets to half way back. Look for main points, secondary points, and flats have produced and are getting better every day. Every pocket around the lake is different. If you find the bait all the way back in a creek, keep fishing. Square bills, traps, and spinnerbaits have been producing as well.

As fall progresses look for Main lake humps, Points and the Bridges to start loading up with big schools of fish. The Flutter spoon bite is hard to beat this time of year and always produce quality bites. The A-Rig will become a key player as well this fall. With everyone one of these types of spots, put those graphs to work. If you don't see them keep moving. A lot of deep water Structure fishing on Fork is all about TIMING.

Hope this helps as you guy's get in some last minute action packed fall fishing before we all head to the woods. I still have some dates available for this month. Call me and get in on this Fall action!!

My buddy and I had a blast fishing with Greg on Sunday. We caught a lot of fish and had some nice piggies too.I know there are other great guides on Fork because I have fished with them. But I can also say that I don't believe anyone works any harder than Greg to put you on the fish. Thanks Greg !!
