Heading out to Squaw Creek for the first time this coming Sunday. Was wondering if any here could provide any tips as to what pattern or technique works best out there.

Thanks

Well if you're good at fishing deep stay south but if you want to run the creek and fish a bit more shallow run north but you will have to use a trolling motor a bit up north due to you not knowing the lanes.

Texas rig anything. You will catch a bunch of 2-3 pounders all over the place.

It was my first trip on the lake and it was easy to catch fish, we just covered water. Just fish to your strengths, finding the 4lb+ fish is what seems to be a little more difficult.

Just tie on a jerkbait and get covering the banks. You will get bit plenty.
