Hi Everybody,

I need your help or suggestions on this problem I'm having. My screen would locked/froze up on waypoints, tracks, routes screen ONLY. Even when I get on Navigation tab and go down to waypoints, tracks, and routes option and it would freezes up. If I'm on other screens I'm okay to navigate from screen to screen. My voltage reading is between 12.7 to 13.2 volts through the unit. I have a Lakemaster chip which I removed to eliminate that from an equation. I called Humminbird and they said I'm losing voltage which I've told them I have 12.7 volts and higher. I even hooked this up in my garage with a power supply and it reads 13.8 volts under load. Still has the same problem on waypoints, tracks, routes screen. I can navigate between side scan, down scan, and 2D sonar with no problem. What do your think would cause this problem? Thanks

Possible corrupt waypoints.

Export your waypoint library to a memory card and load that data to HumminbirdPC. Check for corrupt waypoints and delete them.

Load the corrected list back to the memory card. Replace what is on the card.

Format Nav Directories and load the data from the card back to the unit.

Thank you sir. You are exactly correct on that. I was on the phone with humminbird tech support few minutes ago. Reformat navigation directories. Everything is working now. Will reload waypoints after running it thru HumminbirdPc. Thanks for your help.
