Anybody have this reel? Its a victory and has 10 ball bearings 6.4 to 1 ratio and an oversized crank. I'm pretty sure it was purchased at Walmart. Received it today as a gift from a friend. I am a Shimano man and don't know much about these Wright Mcgill reels. Thinking of returning it. Anybody who has one or has used one and can tell me about it,I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I bought one with the rod to match just because I liked the colors. Theyre good for the price. I like mine. I throw nothing but crankbaits, traps and jerkbaits on it. Never had a problem getting the fish in and the reel is still going strong for me. Maybe I just got lucky and got a good one in the batch

Thanks Jaguar6,I've been pitching a jig around the backyard and the reel feels great.I may keep it. May see how it performs on the water this afternoon.

my son has one. Seems to be a nice reel, but hard to get parts for.
